Wise words, Eva! It’s so bloody hard tho to find that compassion sometimes, especially with family of origin 🫠🫠. I’ve also been guilty of doing my fair share of projecting! But at least I’m introspective about it now. As you say, older people, in my experience, are much less likely to accept any personal responsibility. But acceptance can definitely set you free.
