I thought I should just jump in and let you know that the new name is finally here and all the changes and updates have been completed… Phew! 😮💨🥳

Welcome to ‘The Feeling of Life’!
A place where you will be met with empathy and kindness, as we explore the positive impact of feeling ALL the feels of life. Not picking old wounds, not believing that we are broken, but working on acknowledging and accepting all the parts of ourselves 💛
What’s New?
Well, besides the new name, new branding and an overall (hopefully) clearer picture of what goes on here, nothing else really. Things have been simplified a lot, to make it less overwhelming and easier to navigate. I’ve also organised everything into three main ‘sections’ - see below👇
The Three Main Sections
You will see on the navigation bar in the photo, you can also find my ‘Podcast’, ‘Notes’ - where I share any writing, updates, podcasts, promotions, etc from other writers on Substack. Then there’s the ‘Archive’, where you can find all my previously published writing. Finally, there’s the ‘About’ page, where you can read all about me and what ‘The Feeling of Life’ is all about.
You WILL Need The Substack App
If you haven’t already done so, you will need to download the App, if you want the full experience on Substack - No, they haven’t paid me to say that! 😆 It’s just that if you want to access some of the features - Like the Private Chat Space, where I will be hosting chats for paid members to join - you will need the App.



You Have Choices!
Apologies if you already know this, you can just scroll past this bit. I just wanted to make a couple of things clear for my readers, who might not know the following…
Although Substack is an Ad-free, Spam-free, calm and inspiring place to hang out, there are a couple of quick things you can do to make it an even better experience!
The two things that I hear the most, which Substack users don’t realise and you might find them useful to know are...
You can change your settings in the App to make it so you only receive my posts there and not in your email inbox.
You can choose which “type” of posts you wish to receive from me - i.e. Book Reviews, Monthly Newsletter, etc…
Instructions on How To Make These Choices
1️⃣ Get Me Out of Your Inbox
Phone Instructions
To adjust your Notification Settings and choose where you want them to arrive - in your email inbox, just in the App, or both - Do the following… (See photos too)
Go to your App Homepage and Click on your profile picture - on the top right
Now click on ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the dropdown options
In Settings, click on ‘Notifications’
Click on ‘Preferences’… then ‘Newsletter Delivery’
Then you can choose which you prefer* - Done!
*Please note “push” means in the App






Desktop Instructions
Go to the Desktop version of the App and login to your profile
Click on your Profile Picture - in the top right corner
Choose ‘Settings’ on the drop-down options
Scroll down to the ‘Notifications’ Menu
Click on ‘Newsletter Delivery’ and choose your preferred option - Done!




2️⃣ Toggle Off!
This needs to be done in the desktop - see photos below
Go to the Publication Homepage of ‘The Feeling of Life’
Click on your Profile Picture - in the top right corner
Choose ‘Manage Subscription’ from the drop-down options
Scroll down to the ‘Notifications’ Menu
Toggle ON/Off the sections of the publication you want to receive - Done!



Right - That’s done ✔️
What’s Next
I’ll be slowly coming back to Substack over the next few weeks and I’m looking forward to being back… with a clear focus on what to deliver and nothing too high pressured for my ADHD brain! 🤯
I’m determined to get the balance right this time. Therefore, as previously mentioned, there will be no fixed schedule/routine with the delivery of my Newsletters, Articles, Poems, Essays, Book Reviews, etc.
I’ll just post them out when they’re ready! This could mean you might get two one week, then nothing for two weeks, etc.. If you’re not down for that, that’s cool, you know what to do…
